About

The quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives.

Professional Development

Counselling Training

I hold a Professional Diploma in Person Centred Counselling.

To support trauma work I qualified in Rewind Therapy and have more recemntly trained in the Flash technique to support this work.

I have completed studies into Online and Telephone Counselling, as well as a CPCAB Walk & Talk qualification.

I trained with Prof. Dryden in Single Session Therapy.  This I furthered by studying a qualification in Effective Brief Therapy with The Human Givens Institute.

I complete annual CPD in order to support an organisation as a counsellor within proven Employee Assistance programs.

Continued Development

As an accredited member of The National Counselling Society, I am required to remain up to date in psychotherapeutic developments and to constantly enhance my professional knowledge.

I have recently completed updating my understanding around domestic violence legislation and supporting families of terminally ill clients.

Clinical experience

In addition to my own practice, I continue to support St Barnabas in both paid and voluntary counsellor roles. I value this work and the opportunities to help others it provides.

I also work with clients referred through Employee Assistance Programs.

I was recently appointed as 'Counsellor in Residence' for The Safety in Beauty organisation to promote and support mental health, counselling and trauma therapy within the aesthetics industry.  For more on this, see https://safetyinbeauty.com/mirror-mirror/
